Phew, managed to scrape in before today becomes tomorrow.
Another hectic day today, and not much sleep last night, so the intended artwork didn't happen - that can wait until I have a day where I can concentrate.
Instead I went back to one of the canvases from day 5. I've added the background of the focus of the idea and the red has been toned down, and the edges darkened even more.
Right. I'm off to see what wonderful works are out there.

me to; I counted an online art tool as art for the day today as I've just not had a minute! At least you managed to do something real instead of virtual
ReplyDeleteIs it Leo Sayer??
ReplyDeleteReminds me of the first time I saw him on 'top of the pops'.
Look forward to the finished piece:)

Hello there Nigel! Sounds like you gave in to distraction today, as well! Glad you got something done! Look forward to seeing the finished piece.
ReplyDeleteThis is fantastic! Am I to understand it is still not finished? Your mid process art is better than much of the completely finished pieces out there!
ReplyDeletep.s. I hope you are right now snoozing comfortably!
Don't worry if you are not into Leo sayer...(old ladies like him). He had some good albums out in the early days. I saw him in concert several times...how does such a small man deliver incredible sounds like that, I wondered. He even sang some tracks without a microphone. So you see my likening your creature above to L.S. was actually a compliment. :)
