AEDM D12

Hmmmm.....

I had hoped to get plenty of art done today, but it wasn't to be. We had a Play Day at the Cubby Hole, but for me it was more of a Play afternoon, and a fairly short one at that.

On the plus side, I have managed to make a birthday card for my youngest's girlfriend who, like me is a Coheed & Cambria fan. Whilst mooching around the shop I found the dragonfly stamp* and the pewter charm, both of which fit in with C&C's imagery.

I've also covered an old book with a layer of paint, and start hacking my way through the inside to make a niche.

Hope you're all having a good weekend.

  1. That's a really nice birthday card! Love the dragonfly accents and my all time favourite - "honey combe" effect! Hope you are well, my Friend! x

Ps. Can't wait to see the finished book!

  7. Was lovely here too, just a misty start! (This is in response to your comment.)
Not heard of C & C before!! Looked them up, but doubtful they will be my COTea.
The swirly stamp is very pretty. The charm looks like some I have in my collection of bits. I really like your palette of choice here and what a lovely birthday card.
First of all I thought,...for his youngest girlfriend...how many has he got...then I read it again.
Have a great day scooping out your pages;)
