The frumious Bandersnatch!
Wise words indeed, from Lewis Carroll's "Jabberwocky" which appeared in "Through the looking glass, and what Alice found there".
This is also my entry for the latest Altered Alice challenge, where the theme is Yellow & Blue. Blue was easy - Alice, but what to do for yellow? I had originally thought of sunflowers (no idea why) but decided to go for a bird instead. Unfortunately that limited things slightly; dodo, duck, eaglet and lory. Then somebody reminded me of the Jubjub bird and that was it :)

Too FUNNY!!!!! I never thought of the Jubjub bird as needing therapy, lol! Alice doesn't look very sure about it either! LOVE your composition, so quirky and interesting! Thanks so much for playing along with The Altered Alice!

ReplyDeleteOh this is just so fun and perfect for the challenge! Love this! We both used a bird!!!!
ReplyDeleteMy previous comment was rather thin.
ReplyDeleteToo thin for such a lovely piece of art.
I like the mushrooms...good shading of the stalks and they look rather piosonous; which is a compliment as most mushrooms are considered to be so. (Though there is some doubt.)
I had forgotten about this Jubjub creature...thanks for the reminder!
Nice one!
