Hello Nigel, belated Happy Solstice and Merry Christmas to you! The asian birthday card is beautiful, your friend is very fortunate. Your last comment on my blog made me smile--the only rooms in my house without at least 1 bookcase, are the bathroom and my mother's bedroom (my bedroom has 5.) And thanks for the tip about "Jonathon Strange & Mr Norrell," it sounds fantastic! I will have to get a copy...
