A birthday card for a friend who spent many years in Thailand, and is now a Reiki master.

It's also my entry for the latest Play Date Cafe.

  2. A lovely card Nigel. I too am a Reiki Master and it's so nice to see it mentioned. Something probably few know anything about.
    Happy New Year.

I'm sure that she will love the personal touch, especially the symbols of Reiki, a practice that many know of and appreciate.

  8. Hello Nigel, belated Happy Solstice and Merry Christmas to you! The asian birthday card is beautiful, your friend is very fortunate. Your last comment on my blog made me smile--the only rooms in my house without at least 1 bookcase, are the bathroom and my mother's bedroom (my bedroom has 5.) And thanks for the tip about "Jonathon Strange & Mr Norrell," it sounds fantastic! I will have to get a copy...
