Clang!

That's the sound of a very large penny dropping!

You may remember this picture of Brigid which I recently painted for a friend.
For some time now I've been coming across references to Brigid,
in various odd places (some of them very odd) and the penny has finally dropped.
It wasn't for my friend, it was for me!
D'oh!
I guess I need to go and do some research about Her.

The strange thing is, I've felt completely listless for the last day or two (a case of the flutters),
yet now I'm raring to go and paint and create.
Pity I'm up for work tomorrow.

Anyway, here's a work in progress.
The background is acrylics and some Stewart Gill Alchemy for added shimmer.
Originally I'd added some old book page scraps, but they weren't right, so they came off again, leaving just a few little fragments.
I've no idea where this is going, I'll see what develops.
